Whether you are a keen karter who hopes to break our lap record, or a parent bringing their child for the first time, we strive to ensure that your time with us is both exciting and fun.
Unlike some tracks, Wessex Raceway will cater for children as young as 8 years of age (the UK minimum for proper karts). We don't restrict our karts and instead look to train all children to be able to handle a proper kart on a racing track.
We chose not to install a bridge on our track so that larger drivers wouldn't lose out (you know what we mean), and our asphalt racing surface gives you plenty of grip so that you can handle the high speeds safely.
